This is a very pure and natural soap made only with Olive Oil and 12% Laurel Oil. There are no added colourings, no perfumes, no preservatives, no parabens, no EDTA . It does not dry skin and is suitable for very sensitive skin. This soap is made in France in a small specialist savonnerie using authentic Aleppo processes using pure natural ingredients.

What we were most intrigued about, is the history of this soap. It's said to be the first recorded soap in history and takes almost a year to make!  'First introduced to Europe by the Crusaders in the 11th Century, demand for the intensely moisturizing, all-natural product has soared internationally in the last 10 years.
