Ball + Cup is a symbol for Billy's dog Darla and Billy. She would always carry her favourite ball in her mouth when she is happy and you always see Billy working on cups, so he put that together. It also means the process of turning a ball of clay into a functional vessel, handmade in BC. The name works on many levels.
