Coasters, Sewari Wood
A / I Studio
“Sewari” is a word used to describe a wood working technique in Japan. Intentionally cut grooves control the drying process of wooden posts in architecture. The coasters are deliberately finished without any oil or varnish to encourage the scent of cedar. Light sanding or water can bring out more aroma if you enjoy the fragrance.
