We have been fans of Misha's work ever since we met him and his collective, Fieldwork.  He has an excellent design aesthetic and attention to detail that makes his work easy for us to love.  We're so excited to have him participate in our Show and trust that whatever he's made is going to be solid.

 What's his story?
"Born and raised in Vancouver BC, life has taken me from a westside boy to an eastside man, where I live, work and play up and down Main Street. Working in my father’s glass studio from an early age, I was surrounded and fascinated by creativity and innovation. This experience led me on a lifelong journey of materials exploration. To further develop my passion, I decided to pursue my education at Emily Carr University where I hold a degree in Industrial Design and a Diploma in Fine Arts, with a focus on ceramics and sculpture.
Following years of proficiently dabbling in a multitude of materials, wood is the one that stuck. I find enjoyment in the creative process and the simple pleasure of working with my hands. I often find myself purposefully breaking things simply to be able to fix them. I strive to take a beautiful and practical approach in my daily observations.
Since 2009 I’ve been working on custom projects, as well as collaborative ventures as a member of Fieldwork design collective. All of my pieces are conceived and produced by hand, by me, here in Vancouver."
